Kalasha People celebrate their annual harvesting festival in the month of August every year which is called Uhal Festival. On this festival Kalasha people sing, dance and pay homage to the nature for its blessing with Wheat and Barley etc. On this amazing festival these people also prepare special foods, cheese, buttermilk and corn bread and much more and share and eat. During the festival prayers, a procession is made to a high plateau outside the village in Balangkuru where the long night of dancing begins.
